After I tested it out for 3 weeks, I figured out that listening to music has tons of side effects.
True, music can help you relax or improve your mental health, but it can also be bad for your time at times.The experiment I did is that I tried to listen to music before studying and in the morning for 3 weeks, and I tried not to listen to any music at all before studying or in the morning while running.
When I listen to music before studying or in the morning, I end up procrastinating and not getting the work done.I think human brains do need some quiet and nature sometimes.
Just try this: Put the phone down, close the headphones and just sit. How’s that feel? It's a bit weird, right? I faced that stage too, and after doing that for 4 days, my brain started to normalise that "quiet situation" and adapt it to my normal day-to-day situations.
Sometimes, you need to spend time looking at yourself rather than doing something.
From my point of view, I need some quiet space or some natural space to think clearly and remain productive.
